About the role:

Our client is seeking an experienced Shift Performance Manager to oversee production processes, ensure quality and efficiency, and prioritise health and safety across all operations. This is a key role in driving operational success and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the shift team to ensure production meets specifications, quality standards, and efficiency targets.
- Uphold and promote safe working practices, ensuring compliance with all health and safety procedures.
- Manage team performance through training, appraisals, mentoring, and succession planning.
- Plan and direct daily operations, maintaining a visible presence on the production floor.
- Communicate effectively with the team through regular meetings, feedback sessions, and performance presentations.
- Optimise production schedules, troubleshoot issues, and maintain operational excellence.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to solve problems and deliver continuous improvement projects.
- Support and drive lean manufacturing initiatives and quality improvement programs.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Essential Criteria:
- At least 3 years' supervisory or management experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in WCOM/Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and achieve targets.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Flexibility to work various shift patterns as required.
Desirable Criteria:
- Degree in a manufacturing-related discipline or equivalent.
- NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification.
- Experience with SAP systems.
