As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of various mechanical systems. From planned preventative maintenance to diagnosing faults, this role offers a dynamic and rewarding environment to apply your expertise.

- Salary £35,000 - £40,000 + Call out bonus

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks in line with the asset plan.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
- Manage maintenance tasks to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Conduct thorough site audits and relay effective solutions to clients.
- Follow established safety procedures, including risk assessments and method statements.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date records through CAFM systems and site logbooks.
- Submit detailed timesheets, tracking time and material usage accurately.
- Respond swiftly to maintenance requests, highlighting and addressing defects or additional work requirements.
- Uphold professional standards, maintaining a clean and orderly work area while representing the team.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a mechanical maintenance role.
- Recognised qualifications in the mechanical field.
- Strong technical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach with excellent communication abilities.
- A full and clean driving license.
Desirable (But not essential):
- Experience working with industrial steam boilers.
- Relevant boiler certification (e.g., BOAS).
- Domestic or industrial gas qualifications.
