Maintenance Manager
Are you a Maintenance Manager with experience in a manufacturing environment? This is a great opportunity to join a large and successful manufacturing company in NI that has branched out to Ireland and mainland UK.
About the role:
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all machinery and equipment within our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
What you'll get:

What you'll do:

  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.
  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and address potential issues.
  • Coordinate with production managers to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting production schedules.
  • Manage the maintenance budget, including sourcing and purchasing parts, tools, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and inventory.

About you:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance management role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, mechanical & electrical systems, and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Level 3 or higher in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
  • Certification in maintenance management (e.g., CMRP, CPMM).
