Our client is a leading provider of cold storage solutions, partnering with top food processors across Ireland. Their progressive and dynamic business is seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer to join the team. This is a key role in ensuring smooth operations within a busy facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of all maintenance-related activities on site.
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance checks, recording these on the company's computerised system.
  • Conduct essential repairs and servicing of reach trucks and pallet trucks, with major repairs being managed by external contractors.
  • Maintain and repair the building's structure as required.
  • Work closely with the management team, providing detailed reports on completed repairs and any arising issues.
  • Maintain thorough records of all maintenance activities.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.

Experience:

  • Qualified in an Engineering or relevant discipline (City & Guilds, BTEC, or Degree).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior maintenance role, showcasing an understanding of the technical workings of your environment.
  • Willingness to continuously expand your knowledge beyond your core expertise.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to establish productive relationships across all levels of the business.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility in working hours to meet the business's needs.
