What's the Job About?
As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you'll be at the heart of the action, handling all sorts of building and site maintenance tasks. From carpentry and plumbing to preventative maintenance, you'll play a key role in ensuring our site operates safely, efficiently, and always looks its best.
Your Day-to-Day Will Involve:
- Sticking to health and safety standards and always using the right gear.
- Carrying out general maintenance tasks across the site.
- Helping out other departments with a can-do attitude and professional approach.
- Tackling carpentry, plumbing, and structural repairs as needed.
- Making sure everything is left tidy and ready to go at the end of the day.
- Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and keeping records updated in the system.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Hands-on experience in joinery, general maintenance, or a similar trade.
- Qualifications: Training or apprenticeship in a relevant field.
- Independence: Able to get stuck in and finish jobs to a high standard without close supervision.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using mobile devices for logging tasks.
- Team Player: Someone reliable and efficient, who's happy to work with others when needed.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience in a fast-paced environment, like FMCG.
- A creative mindset and an eye for detail.
- A knack for working on your own initiative.
What You Need to Know:
- Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Days (some flexibility might be needed).
- Location: Ballymena
