What's the Job About?

As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you'll be at the heart of the action, handling all sorts of building and site maintenance tasks. From carpentry and plumbing to preventative maintenance, you'll play a key role in ensuring our site operates safely, efficiently, and always looks its best.

Your Day-to-Day Will Involve:

  • Sticking to health and safety standards and always using the right gear.
  • Carrying out general maintenance tasks across the site.
  • Helping out other departments with a can-do attitude and professional approach.
  • Tackling carpentry, plumbing, and structural repairs as needed.
  • Making sure everything is left tidy and ready to go at the end of the day.
  • Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and keeping records updated in the system.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Hands-on experience in joinery, general maintenance, or a similar trade.
  • Qualifications: Training or apprenticeship in a relevant field.
  • Independence: Able to get stuck in and finish jobs to a high standard without close supervision.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using mobile devices for logging tasks.
  • Team Player: Someone reliable and efficient, who's happy to work with others when needed.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment, like FMCG.
  • A creative mindset and an eye for detail.
  • A knack for working on your own initiative.

What You Need to Know:

  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Days (some flexibility might be needed).
  • Location: Ballymena
