Maintenance Engineer

VANRATH are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to conduct a schedule of preventative maintenance tasks and provide support on reactive breakdowns.

Remuneration
40 hr Week, Mon to Fri

Tiered Salary Structure:
Tier 4 £18.00 per hour (In Training)
Tier 3 £19.00 per hour (After 6 Months)
Tier 2 £20.00 per hour (Upon completion of set criteria)
Tier 1 £21.00+ per hour (Negotiable)

Additional Shift Premium for Early or Late Shift

Overtime available at 1.25x Mon to Fri and 1.5x Weekends

Shift Patterns Currently Available
1x Day Shift Maintenance Engineer
1x Earlies/Lates on a 2 week rotation

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and support tasks on high speed automated equipment
  • Willing to engage with a changing work environment which will involve shift work
  • Maintain and support automated and conveying systems.
  • Maintain and support production electronic/electrical systems.
  • Working as part of a team and supporting production and operations.
  • Worked in a high volume manufacturing environment
  • Implement solutions to help improve machine reliability and quality issues.


The Ideal Person:

  • 3+ Experience in areas of Electrical and Mechanical machine maintenance
  • Third level qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
