Maintenance Engineer (Dual Skilled)

About the role:

As a Dual Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of our machinery by performing both electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks. Your role will be critical in minimising downtime, maximising productivity, and ensuring the safety and reliability of our equipment.

What you'll do:

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults in electrical circuits, mechanical systems, and equipment.
• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance tasks to minimise production interruptions.
• Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancements.
• Provide technical support and training to junior maintenance staff.

About you:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role.
• Dual skillset with expertise in both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
• Proficient in mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical and mechanical engineering.
