The Role:

As a Sponsorship & Events Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Sponsorship & Events Manager to deliver impactful sponsorship activation plans and organise events that boost brand visibility and achieve strategic objectives. Your responsibilities will include managing event logistics, coordinating communication strategies, and ensuring all sponsorship agreements are fulfilled.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sponsorship Activation: Work closely with the Sponsorship & Events Manager to deliver on youth sport sponsorships with Ulster Rugby, GAA, and NISFA, including managing match activations and overseeing all related communications (social media, press, and internal comms). Occasionally, you'll support B2B sponsorships for added business value.
  • Agency Management: Collaborate with creative agencies to produce promotional assets, ensure branding is in place for events, and manage all event-related supplies and materials.
  • Budget Management: Track and reconcile sponsorship costs, ensuring spending aligns with allocated budgets.
  • Financial Promotions Compliance: Work with internal teams to ensure marketing communications meet compliance standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain ongoing communication with sponsor partners, external agencies, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of all sponsorship and event activities. Brief key personnel for events and manage sponsorship agreements.


Your Skills:

  • Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven experience in Marketing, Communications, or Event Management
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines while effectively prioritising workload


Preferred:

  • Experience in managing sponsorship activation strategies
