Rural Regeneration Officer - Belfast

VANRATH are delighted to be assisting our client, a large and well-known Public Sector Organisation with the recruitment of a Rural Regeneration Officer to join their team based in Belfast.

This is a Full-Time Monday - Friday position. 37 hours per week. Monday - Friday 9 - 5.

Salary

£28,762 - £33,945 per year + fantastic benefits

Responsibilities:

• Support research, development, implementation, and review of policies for rural and regeneration programmes.
• Collaborate with partners to deliver programmes.
• Contribute to policy development and review.
• Manage programme budgets, ensuring compliance and value for money, and provide support to funded organisations.
• Monitor and evaluate programme delivery, ensuring outcomes are met and reporting requirements are fulfilled.
• Assist with project documentation, including business cases and risk assessments.
• Support housing-led and community regeneration efforts.
• Improve work processes and data management.
• Draft responses to programme inquiries and formal reports.
• Provide high-level customer service and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Support the team and provide cover for colleagues as needed.

Essential Criteria:

• Degree or equivalent qualification with 1+ year of relevant experience, or HND with 2+ years of experience, or 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in delivering housing or regeneration programmes, stakeholder communication, policy development, data analysis, and budget management.
• Strong interpersonal skills, team player, works well under pressure, maintains confidentiality.
• Full driving license or suitable transport access.
