Junior DevSecOps Support Engineer (remote)

VANRATH are pleased to be working with one of the large IT Security company who are looking for a Junior DevSecOps support engineer. They are looking for driven candidates who can help support the threat modelling platform. The company is relatively new to the Belfast market but are hiring remotely in NI and are building up the team quite quickly with two hires in the past couple of weeks.
The Role
As a Junior DevSecOps support engineer you will be responsible for ensuring that all our customers are being enabled to always get the most out of our product and that IriusRisk is giving them the value that they are paying for. To achieve this, you must be willing to go the extra mile for our customers and possess not only the technical aptitude to resolve technical issues but also display a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy when dealing with customers in high pressure situations.

  • Triage and respond to customer cases in a timely manor ensuring all SLA's are met.
  • Build strong relationships with customers through delivering an excellent level of customer experience.
  • Work closely & building strong relationships with engineering and customer success to make sure our customers have their proposed solutions and work arounds in a timely manner.
  • Be willing rapidly familiarise yourself with the concept of threat modelling and gain an in-depth technical understanding of our product.
  • Continuously contribute to our support site in writing how-to articles and troubleshooting guides to ensure we deliver good content to our customer base.
  • Possess a proactive and can-do mindset


Requirements

  • Good communication skills & proficient in written English.
  • Take part on a rotational on-call rota.
  • Comfortable with joining customer calls and arranging video calls on short notice.
  • Ability to work efficiently as both part of a team and independently.
  • Good troubleshooting mindset with the mentality to push yourself in learning new technologies.
  • Knowledge of with the following.
  • Linux, Nginx, Apache tomcat
  • AWS
  • PostgreSQL
  • Containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)


Remuneration

Salaries are negotiable for the role with experience ranging from 30-50k with great benefits and bonus.
