Junior QA Tester - Hybrid - Belfast
6-12 Month Temporary Contract | Temp Role | £28-29K per annum (pro rata)

We're seeking a Junior QA Tester to support the testing of a third-party software product before it is rolled out across this Public Sector organisation. This is a hybrid role, ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, solid Microsoft Office skills, and an interest in quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the business in testing a vendor-supplied system before final handover

  • Create and execute test cases, raising and tracking issues

  • Document and communicate test results clearly using Excel and Word

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and the vendor's technical team

  • Assist with UAT and feedback collection across departments

Skills & Experience Required:

  • 1+ year in a QA, testing, or technical support role

  • Confident with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook)

  • Clear communicator with strong documentation skills

  • Organised and methodical in test planning and issue logging

  • Exposure to defect tracking tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps

Desirable:

  • ISTQB Foundation Certificate

  • Experience working with or testing third-party/vendor systems

  • Interest in progressing into QA or Business Analysis
