Job Title: HGV Mechanic
Location: Belfast
Working Hours: Day and Evening Shifts
Salary: £35,000 - £37,000
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated HGV Mechanic to join our team in Belfast. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards of safety and efficiency. This role offers a competitive salary and requires flexibility to work both day and evening shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs, ensuring road worthiness and compliance with industry standards
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
- Conduct vehicle inspections and servicing
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work day and evening shifts
- Full UK driving licence (HGV licence is an advantage)
