Mechanical Facilities Engineer - Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Belfast
39 hour week - £43,000

What You'll Do

  • Keep mechanical systems safe and compliant with UK and EU standards.
  • Plan and oversee maintenance schedules, ensuring high standards from staff and contractors.
  • Carry out inspections, repairs, upgrades, and fault-finding.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance, highlighting opportunities for improvement.
  • Work on multi-disciplinary projects, from initial surveys to completion.
  • Identify and implement energy-saving measures.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in the CAFM system.

What You'll Bring

  • Level 4 qualification in engineering or similar.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and regulations (HASAW, PSSR, LOLER, PUWER, CoSHH).
  • Proficiency with CAFM systems.
  • Great communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience with steam installations (a bonus).
  • A clean UK Driving Licence.
