Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various departments to plan and execute continuous process and workflow improvements in alignment with company and departmental KPIs.
  • Conduct work studies and optimise production processes to enhance operational performance.
  • Design and implement optimal facility and equipment layouts.
  • Improve material flow throughout the facility using stock control and Kanban systems.
  • Create and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs) as needed.
  • Drive progress on projects through the Engineering Change Process.
  • Identify machinery needs and provide data to support capital expenditure requests for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in planning and developing operational resources.
  • Lead the operational introduction of new products in line with the New Product Development (NPD) process.
  • Facilitate problem-solving, quality improvements, and waste reduction through cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication within the Engineering department and across other relevant departments.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve technical issues and clarify specifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.


Essential Criteria:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Process Engineering role within a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience in implementing measurable and effective process improvements
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Experience with lean manufacturing techniques
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD software
  • Demonstrable report writing skills
  • Experience in project/teamwork
  • Full clean UK driving licence with access to own vehicle

Desirable Criteria:

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 (2018)
  • Experience with MRP systems
