About the Role:
Our client is a leading manufacturer in Northern Ireland, known for their innovative products and commitment to excellence. We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team, helping ensure the production processes run smoothly and efficiently.

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in electrical maintenance, particularly working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and have hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, with a focus on PLC systems.
  • Repair or replace faulty equipment to minimise downtime.
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in PLC troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
