About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with expertise in PLC programming and control systems to join our team in Dungannon. This role will involve designing schematics and developing software for machines that control both hydraulic and electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electrical schematics for manufacturing machinery and automated systems.
• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs for machines controlling hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Design and develop software for machine control systems, optimising performance and reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system issues to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure efficient machine operation.
• Implement and optimise control systems to improve manufacturing processes.
• Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades on electrical and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in PLC programming within a manufacturing environment.
• Third level qualification in relevant discipline
• Ability to design electrical schematics and develop control system software.
• Strong understanding of electrical and hydraulic control systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
