Technical Architect Lead

  • Role -Temp 6 months Contract
  • Location - Belfast /Hybrid
  • Salary: £40-45K


Job Summary
Lead a team of software developers to create high-quality software within agreed specifications and project deadlines. Responsible for designing, implementing, and conducting developer-level testing of user interfaces, server, and interface components. Ensure the solution architecture prioritises security, scalability, compatibility, and maintainability.

  • Specialist Knowledge and Experience:
    • SQL Server Database and query design for reporting and analysis.
    • software development .Net,C#
    • Data extraction, transformation, and loading technologies.
    • Database management and support (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Caché).
    • Designing and building system-to-system interfaces.
    • Application of development standards, policies, and procedures.
    • Lead a team of software developers in creating high-quality software to an agreed specification and within project deadlines.
    • Design, implement, and conduct developer-level testing of user interfaces, server, and interface components.
    • Ensure solution architecture considers security, scalability, compatibility, and maintainability.
    • Effective communication skills appropriate to meet the needs of the post in full.
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation.
    • Proven ability to use own initiative and work with minimum supervision.
    • Ability to undertake detailed investigations, analyse complex data, present results appropriately, and make sound recommendations.
    • Ability to work accurately, demonstrate attention to detail, prioritise, and organise workload within a pressurised environment and to tight project timescales.
    • Ability to plan, allocate work, and monitor outcomes of work packages.


Desirable Criteria
Experience:

  • Experience of using an Integration broker or tool set such as Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, or equivalent.
  • Gathering and documenting user requirements.
  • Relevant knowledge and experience in Relational Database Management Systems such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, IBM DB2.
  • Practical experience of implementing or supporting ICT-related business change projects and/or systems development.
