Overview

Great for someone looking to get into IT and the Health Sector. My client is currently modernising their IT Infrastructure across their sites in Northern Ireland and have a requirement for a Technical Helpdesk Advisor to join their Helpdesk team as soon as possible. You'll be providing general IT and Technical Support to professionals within the health sector via inbound calls, assisting with general IT / technical support queries such as device issues/setup, networks, printers, logins, as well as hardware/software support and deployments, resolving at first point of contact or raising tickets to appropriate team. You do not need to have IT experience, full training will be provided, but helpdesk experience would be good to have.

Remote working for the most part, but onsite until fully trained and some office / onsite requirements from time to time.

About you

  • Over 1 year experience in a helpdesk role
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Motivated to learn and passionate team player
  • Interested in IT / learning new systems
  • Adaptable, versatile, happy to take on a variety of tasks across IT Support and IT projects
  • Driving licence and access to own car.
  • Preferably available immediately
  • Content with working to a rota with shifts typically 5 days per week to cover 24/7 requirement

What you'll do as an Technical Helpdesk Advisor

  • Primarily on IT Helpdesk resolving IT queries and issues at first point of contact
  • Resolving/escalating tickets appropriately
  • Providing software/hardware support
  • Collaborating within a team to ensure efficient resolutions
  • May be required to travel to various sites to provide on-site support from time to time.
