Support Worker - Belfast

Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm (no evenings or weekends)

Overview:

An opportunity has arisen for a Support Worker to join a dynamic team. This role is essential to support a major team within HSCNI, providing a valuable service to the hospital ensuring that appropriate medical stock levels are maintained in a neat, clean & orderly manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with receipt, storage and issuing of medical products
Undertake assembly, labelling and packaging of items
Maintain appropriate stock for wards
Maintain cleanliness levels at all times to avoid cross contamination
Work as part of a team

Qualifications & Experience:

Min 4 GCSEs (Grade A-C to include Maths, English & Science)
Or BTEC or equivalent Science related qualification
Experience of working within a hospital environment & knowledge of Encompass would be advantageous.
A science background working within Labs would also be advantageous.
Ability to work independently & use own initiative. Also ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

£22,383 per annum
Paid annual leave
No evening or weekends - Core hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm
