VANRATH are recruiting a Site Manager to work on fit out projects for a leading contractor based in Armagh, Northern Ireland.

Client:
Our client is a leading contractor that specialises in the fitout sector. The business have been operating for decades and specialise in creating bespoke interiors within the entertainment, luxury hospitality and prime residential sectors.

Due to continued growth, the business have an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

Travel Requirements:
Depending on the allocation of projects, site travel may vary. Generally it will be 1 or 2 days per week / fortnight but occasionally may require a bit more time away if a project demands it.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing client relationships on site
  • Liaise with Clients, Contracts Manager, Design, Manufacturing and Logistics to ensure successful delivery of projects on time and as per planned schedule of works
  • Develop & implement schedule of works from start to completion
  • Organise & co-ordinate on site project requirements i.e. resources, materials and logistics etc.
  • Deliver all scope of works on time, within budget and of exceptional quality
  • Escalate any delays, variations, red flags to Contracts Manager
  • Provide regular progress updates and reports to management
  • Ensure compliance of all necessary Health and Safety requirements


The Ideal Person:

  • Degree qualified or other relevant qualifications
  • Experience working on fit out projects
  • Excellent leadership, planning and communication skills
  • A successful track record of delivering projects on time, within budget and of excellent quality
  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent management skills
  • Proactive & innovative approach with the ability to problem solve issues.
  • Happy to travel and stay away on a rotational basis (4 to 5 weeks at a time with high end accommodation and rewards package on offer)
