Job Overview:

VANRATH is delighted to partner once again with a well-known organisation to recruit a Senior Application Analyst. This role involves providing comprehensive support to thousands of users across the business, ensuring effective utilisation of all corporate applications. The successful candidate will deliver work packages as defined by project and program managers, offer cover for the Software teams, IS Help Desk, and other IT functions, all within a team support.

Skills:

  • Expertise in troubleshooting hardware and software compatibility issues across various configurations.
  • Knowledge of Azure and Microsoft systems would desirable
  • Interest in Cyber Security.
  • Possess a current driving licence for work-related purposes.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide corporate-wide Software /Hardward support to users.
  • Deliver work packages as assigned by project and program managers.
  • Ensure effective use of corporate applications.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software compatibility issues across various configurations.
  • Bring expert knowledge of customer service experience in a software environment.
  • Attend other locations as required,
  • Occasionally work out of hours (overtime pay applied)


Essential Criteria:

Education:

  • Possess an IT or Business-related qualification.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of technical support or related customer service experience in a software environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with computer hardware and network operating systems.



Desirable Criteria:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with cloud computing, including migrating "on-premise" applications to the cloud.
  • Experience in project management.
