VANRATH are pleased to be partnered with a leading public sector employer based in Belfast City Centre who currently require a Qualified Accountant to join their team on an interim basis for 6 months.
To be considered for this role, it is essential to be fully qualified, with at least 4 years PQE, ideally within a managerial capacity.
About you
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with at least 4 years PQE
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a demanding environment
- Management Accountant experience (desirable)
- Strong IT skills (MS Excel in particular)
What you'll do
- Prepare monthly management accounts in line with schedule
- Presentation of financial information to non-finance colleagues
- Liaising with auditors
- Manage and deliver the Public Expenditure and Supply Estimate processes and requirements
- Develop and maintain financial management and payroll policies
