Are you an experienced Production Engineer or Electrical Engineer with experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? This could be a great opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership to the production team.
- Utilise lean techniques to improve yield, quality, throughput, and productivity.
- Drive efficiency improvements in manufacturing and operational processes..
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Collaborate with third-party contractors to solve problems and develop processes.Work with various departments to achieve management goals.
- Review and enhance equipment, process control sequencing, and operating procedures.
- Train production operators to improve their process knowledge and technical skills.
- Ensure effective communication during shift changes.
- Adhere to company Health & Safety policies.
Your Profile:
- HNC in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician.
- Experience with PLCs, variable speed drives, and fault-finding.
- Knowledge in SCADA
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and show initiative.
- Experience in leading teams and challenging operational practices.
- Excellent fault-finding skills.
- Academic background in process engineering or experience as a maintenance technician with process control expertise.
- Minimum of five years' experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
