VANRATH are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll & Accounts Officer to join a leading NI employer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid background in payroll administration to play a key role in delivering accurate and timely payroll to a workforce of around 300 employees.

What You'll Do
Administer end-to-end payroll
Calculate and apply statutory deductions such as PAYE, National Insurance, and pension contributions
Maintain accurate employee records, including starters, leavers, and any changes to employment status
Reconcile time and attendance data and report payroll information to Senior Leadership on a daily basis
Upload payroll payments to the bank once payroll is finalised
Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation, tax laws, and internal company policies
Prepare and submit statutory payroll reports (RTI, EPS, FPS, ONS)
Handle employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Support year-end processes, including the preparation of P45s, P60s, and P11Ds, and assist during audits
Collaborate with HR and managers to ensure accurate and seamless payroll processing
VAT returns
Assist with general ledgers
About You
2-5 years' payroll experience
Solid understanding of UK payroll laws and statutory reporting
Highly accurate with strong attention to detail
Professional, discreet, and able to manage confidential information
Organised with the ability to meet deadlines
Strong communicator, both independently and within a team
