Job Description

VANRATH are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Assistant interested in working with a growing group of businesses in Lisburn. This role is suited for a driven individual who can manage multiple payrolls and is ready to take a Senior position within the Finance Team.

About you

If you have a minimum of 2 years' experience in payroll and are looking for an opportunity:

  • 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including English and Maths

  • Experience with computerised HR and attendance systems

  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages, especially Excel

  • Strong professional etiquette

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment

What you'll do

As a Payroll Assistant, you will:

  • Process weekly and monthly payrolls

  • Manage and administer pensions

  • Produce month-end reports for pensions and charity

  • Report on a weekly and monthly basis

  • Manage and update internal HR systems for pay increases, new starts, and compile statistical information as needed

  • Participate in the centralisation and setup of payroll, liaising with the payroll provider

  • Handle payroll administration duties, including childcare vouchers and reporting of weekly headcount

  • Work with supervisors and other payroll staff to resolve payroll queries
