About the Role

A leading public sector organisation is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Corporate Secretariat & Office Manager to provide critical support to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). This hybrid role ensures seamless governance, compliance, and office operations while acting as a key administrative support to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Support to the COO

  • Act as a key point of contact for the COO, managing correspondence, scheduling, and meeting coordination.
  • Prepare reports, briefings, and documentation to support strategic decision-making.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Corporate Secretariat Support

  • Assist in governance and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and manage board and committee documentation, including agendas, minutes, and action tracking.
  • Liaise with senior stakeholders to support effective corporate governance.

Office Management

  • Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a professional and efficient working environment.
  • Manage administrative processes, facilities, and supplier contracts.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements for senior staff.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in corporate governance, board secretariat, or compliance roles.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience providing high-level executive support, ideally at COO or senior leadership level.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and experience liaising with senior stakeholders.
