Location: Ballymena
Salary: £52,000 - £55,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Flexible)


Are you an accomplished Maintenance Manager with expertise in both electrical and mechanical systems? Our client, a leading manufacturing company in Ballymena, is seeking a motivated professional to lead their maintenance team during an exciting phase of business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance engineers, ensuring efficient operations and strong team performance.
  • Design and execute maintenance schedules to maximise equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Provide hands-on support and technical guidance in both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
  • Work closely with the Engineering Manager to align maintenance operations with the company's strategic growth objectives.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to boost operational efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and compliance standards.

Candidate Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience managing maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, with a dual-skilled approach.
  • Previous experience in the FMCG sector is preferred, but candidates with a manufacturing background are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team.
  • A proactive mindset and excellent problem-solving skills to tackle maintenance challenges effectively.
