Management Accountant (FMCG/Armagh)

VANRATH are delighted to be working exclusively with a market leading FMCG based on the Armagh/Monaghan border to recruit a Management Accountant to join the growing finance team. This is a newly created role as the business is going through a significant period of growth and is an exciting time for anyone to join the team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is considered a key role within the fast-paced finance team and will support in completion of statutory accounts, month end, and weekly management accounts.

About you

  • Qualified/Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Strong MS Excel skills and SAGE 200 experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

What you'll do

  • Completion of statutory accounts, month end, and weekly management accounts, ensuring focus is on process improvements and compliance
  • Act as Finance Business Partner and key point of contact with finance and non-finance stakeholders, both internally and externally supporting on audits.
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly management reporting, supporting on the development of budgets, forecasting, analysis of performance/ labour, highlighting of any trends and variances
  • Support with any ad hoc financial analysis where required.
  • Support on systems and process improvement projects
  • Continually add value to the business/ finance service provided
