VANRATH are delighted to be working exclusively with an innovative market leader in their field based in Belfast to recruit a hands on Management Accountant to join the growing finance team. This is a newly created role that has come about as the company is going through a sustained period of growth and will offer the right candidate fast track progression to Finance Manager.

About you
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong commercial experience.
- Experience of working with financial systems (SAGE/XERO) coupled with strong Excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
What you'll do
- Preparation of management accounts for monthly reporting and presenting financial reports to senior management team.
- Preparation and management of budgets.
- Assist in developing, implementing and improving business strategies.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Regular bank reconciliations.
- Administration of accounts receivable ledger and credit control management.
- Management of accounts payable ledger and organising payment runs.
- Maintaining fixed asset register.
- Reconciliation and management of stock, to include assisting in the co-ordination of processes by the operations team to ensure accurate inventory control, tracking and maintaining transactions for movements on the stock system.
- Preparation of ad hoc analytical reports required to assist business operations team
