VANRATH are partnered with a large public sector employer based in Belfast, who require a Part-Qualified Accountant to join their team for a period of 6 months. This is an opportunity to gain sought after experience within a desirable sector of the industry. The Part-Qualified Accountant will report to the Head of Finance and will assume responsibility for the timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts, alongside being a point of contact for the organisation's client base.
To be considered for the Part-Qualified Accountant post, it is essential to have experience in a similar role, alongside strong communication skills with an ability to interact with internal & external stakeholders at all levels. About you
- Part-Qualified Accountant (Minimum of foundation level completed)
- Strong communication skills with experience of working with internal/external stakeholders
- High levels of organisation and interpersonal skills
- Experience within monthly management accounts
- Budgeting experience
What you'll do
- Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts, monthly board report
- Budgetary control, assisting with the annual budget setting process for customer
- Income & Expenditure reporting
- Assist in the provision of management accounting information for the final accounts
- Business partner with business managers to understand budgetary position
