VANRATH are delighted to be recruiting a Management Accountant to join a leading local authority based in Belfast. This is an initial interim contract opportunity for a period of 3 months, with the potential for extension.

The Management Accountant will be responsible for assisting on processes of budgetary control, reporting on capital income and contributing to the corporate management of the service. If you are a Qualified or Qualified by Experience Accountant, with relevant experience this could be the ideal opportunity to join a business with an excellent reputation for providing contractors the chance to secure permanent roles.

This is an urgent posting for the organisation and candidates on reduced notice periods will be at an advantage.

About you

• Qualified Accountant
• Strong management accounting experience
• Proven ability to influence, interact and consult with senior leaders
• Strong IT skills including MS Excel

What you'll do

• Assist with the annual setting of revenue and capital budgets
• Provide accurate budget monitoring information
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
• Preparation of capital accounting schedules
