A highly reputable and forward-thinking manufacturing employer in Belfast is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and drive performance within their preventative and reactive maintenance function. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong engineering background and leadership skills to join a dynamic and well-established team.

What You'll Do

• Work with the Maintenance Manager to lead and coordinate a team of engineers responsible for both preventative maintenance and breakdown response.
• Plan and manage daily team objectives to meet wider departmental and production goals.
• Ensure maintenance work is carried out effectively, safely, and to schedule.
• Support and deliver continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Provide technical support and hands-on problem solving when required.
• Maintain accurate records and support the delivery of maintenance strategies.

What You'll Bring

• HND or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a maintenance leadership or management role
• Proven experience managing or supervising a team
• Strong technical understanding of engineering processes
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team

Desirable (but not essential)

• A degree in Engineering
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance systems and record keeping
• Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs/controllers
• Background in project management and process improvements
• Demonstrated ability to reduce costs and drive efficiency
