VANRATH is partnering with one of Northern Ireland's leading growing Manufacturing as they seek to add an experienced Learning & Development Officer to their growing team.
Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the personal and professional development of employees, ensuring that training programs are effectively delivered, evaluated, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
About You:
- A qualification in Learning & Development, Human Resources, or CIPD (Level 5 minimum).
- At least 2 years' experience in a Learning & Development Officer or related role.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering and evaluating training programs.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A proven ability to assess employee performance and identify learning gaps.
- Driving licence.
What You'll Do:
- Design and deliver training and development programmes aimed at enhancing employee skills and performance.
- Evaluate training outcomes by monitoring the progress and performance of employees post-training to ensure continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with managers to identify training needs and develop tailored solutions that align with organisational goals.
- Coach and mentor employees to support their professional growth, providing guidance on career development pathways.
- Maintain training records and ensure that all training materials are up-to-date and reflect current business needs.
- Coordinate external training and development opportunities, ensuring value for money and relevance to employee development.
- Develop learning resources and maintain an up-to-date library of e-learning and in-person training materials.
- Work closely with HR colleagues on initiatives related to on boarding, employee engagement, and wellness programmes.
