Job Title: Learning & Development Officer
Location: Belfast
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Duration: Full Time / Permanent / Hybrid (2 days)

VANRATH is partnering with one of Northern Ireland's leading growing Manufacturing as they seek to add an experienced Learning & Development Officer to their growing team.

Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the personal and professional development of employees, ensuring that training programs are effectively delivered, evaluated, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

About You:

  • A qualification in Learning & Development, Human Resources, or CIPD (Level 5 minimum).
  • At least 2 years' experience in a Learning & Development Officer or related role.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering and evaluating training programs.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • A proven ability to assess employee performance and identify learning gaps.
  • Driving licence.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and deliver training and development programmes aimed at enhancing employee skills and performance.
  • Evaluate training outcomes by monitoring the progress and performance of employees post-training to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify training needs and develop tailored solutions that align with organisational goals.
  • Coach and mentor employees to support their professional growth, providing guidance on career development pathways.
  • Maintain training records and ensure that all training materials are up-to-date and reflect current business needs.
  • Coordinate external training and development opportunities, ensuring value for money and relevance to employee development.
  • Develop learning resources and maintain an up-to-date library of e-learning and in-person training materials.
  • Work closely with HR colleagues on initiatives related to on boarding, employee engagement, and wellness programmes.
