Looking for your next career move in the Public Sector? VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a local public sector organisation to recruit a HR Officer on an initial temporary basis with possibility for extension.
About you

  • Five GCSE passes at grade A-C, NVQ level 2 or equivalent
  • 2 years' experience in an HR role

What you'll do

  • Assist in the review and provision of information and guidance regarding human resources policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively in writing, by telephone or face to face with applicants, staff and senior management regarding human resources policies and procedures.
  • Operation of the online recruitment system, employee self-service, attendance recording system, personnel administration management system and general drive.
  • Contribute to the efficient and effective organisation and completion of the day to day work of human resources administration.
  • Assisting with the application and implementation of Recruitment and Selection Procedures.
  • Assisting with the reintroduction of the flexible working hours scheme and the implementation of hybrid working in the organisation.
  • Assist with the planned transfer of manual personnel files to a digital format.
