IT Support Engineer (Remote)

Job Description

Our client is seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to provide technical support and maintenance for their clients. This role involves troubleshooting issues, maintaining customer networks, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

This is a remote role with genuine flexibility and occasional on-site visits. Applicants must be based in NI, hold a full clean driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide IT support via helpdesk and occasional on-site visits.
  • Maintain and update customer documentation.
  • Perform routine network maintenance.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and suggest improvements.

Technical Skills

Essential:

  • Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange & Office 365
  • Networks & cloud-managed firewalls
  • Antivirus & remote access tools
  • Basic Linux & in-house systems experience

Desirable:

  • Cisco & firewall expertise
  • VMware, Linux, hardware maintenance
  • Web development experience
