Interim People Partner

Job Description

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced People Partner to join our client's Human Resources team on a 9 month contract. In this pivotal role, you will provide comprehensive and professional HR advice and support to stakeholders within our Operational Divisions. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing effective people solutions that drive organisational performance and foster positive employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Change Management & Organisational Performance:
    • Develop innovative HR solutions to effectively manage human resources within the divisions.
    • Assist in delivering HR projects to meet corporate objectives.
    • Promote a performance management culture through coaching and consistent application of processes.
  • Management & Leadership:
    • Support managers with investigations into bullying, harassment, disciplinary, and grievance cases.
    • Provide expert advice on employment legislation, policies, and procedures.
    • Assist HR Business Partners (HRBPs) with managing absence cases, including liaising with Occupational Health and supporting case reviews.
    • Participate in recruitment and selection processes.
    • Prepare management reports and work with HRBPs to improve HR KPIs.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and external agencies.

Essential Criteria:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an HR role, handling employee relations within a unionised environment.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills to meet business objectives.
  • HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in a business-related or HRM discipline.
  • Sound understanding of employment legislation and HR policies.
  • Effective communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in Manufacturing/Operations.
  • CIPD qualification.
  • Experience in managing and delivering HR projects.
  • Familiarity with organisational change and cultural development.


Circumstances:

  • Willingness to travel across all locations within Northern Ireland as required.
  • Must meet standard pre-employment medical requirements.
