- Contract: Temp (6+ months) - with opportunity for a permanent role
- Hours: 37.5 pw / Mon-Fri 9-5
Overview
This is a role with one of our public sector clients within the health sector - Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS). The ICT Network Manager will be responsible for the support, delivery and management of all Network systems and services. The post holder will be responsible for the design, capacity, availability, security and continuity of Network Systems and Services. They will provide expert advice on the design and implementation of Network aspects of ICT Solutions.
About you
- Strong experience of looking after network infrastructure, switches, routers, Wi-Fi etc - setups, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, improvements etc.
- Experience of leading on network improvement projects.
- Experience of implementing network security protocols/standards.
- Hold CCNA certification or higher
- Driving licence with access to own car
What you'll do as the ICT Network Manager
- Support the Director of Technology in the continued development and implementation of the ICT Strategy.
Plan the design, configuration and installation of network hardware and software.
Implement appropriate network security protocols / standards that enable network interconnects to be established and managed on the organisations digital service.
Plan the design, configuration and implementation of appropriate mobile data interconnects required to support Service mobile data Solutions.
Manage, diagnose and resolve technical problems (both hardware and software related) which may be reported by users of ICT systems throughout the Service.
Lead in the specification and procurement of network systems hardware and software, based upon recognised and agreed technical and industry standards, and to maintain accurate financial records of all purchases.
