Job Description

VANRATH is exclusively partnering with a leading service provider with the appointment of a newly created HR & Talent Manager role, based in South Belfast.

Job Purpose

As the HR & Talent Manager, you'll deliver a comprehensive HR service tailored to the needs of the business supporting recruitment to employee engagement, policy development, and performance management, you'll play a vital role in shaping the culture and supporting our people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a HR function, tailored to the business needs.
  • Provide advice to management and employees on HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment legislation.
  • Develop and implement HR policies that reflect values and legal obligations.
  • Foster engagement by listening to employee feedback and championing initiatives that improve workplace culture.
  • Identify and deliver learning and development opportunities to help people thrive.

We're looking for someone who:

  • 3+ years' experience in HR, ideally in a SME or scaling business.
  • Has a degree in HR, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Thrives on autonomy and can confidently set up processes from scratch.
  • Is highly organised, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven.
  • Balances empathy and professionalism, building trust with staff at all levels.
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
