A leading business within the construction industry require a Financial Controller to join the business on a maternity cover contract for 14 months - are you comfortable working in a hands-on commercial role?

About you

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Proven management experience in a commercial environment
• Proven experience of effective planning and organisation skills
• Excellent IT skills
• Experience of providing financial information at senior level

What you'll do

As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the overall financial management of the business and work closely with the Finance Director to maintain the company's long-term business & operational objectives. You will provide strategic and operational financial leadership to ensure the effective financial planning, reporting, and control of the company's resources.

• Provide strong commercial input and support on a range of strategic and operational issues
• Provide financial direction to Senior Management Team and Commercial Team
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Review and maintain effective controls
• KPI reporting
