Financial Controller (Derry)
VANRATH are delighted to be working in partnership with a market leading business based in Derry to recruit a Financial Controller to join the growing finance team. Reporting to the General Manager the Financial Controller is a newly created role and has come about due to growth within the business.

About you
- Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Strong broad hands-on accounts experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience managing a small high performing finance team
What you'll do
- Preparation of management & statutory year end accounts for companies
- Preparation of half year management accounts for group companies.
- Audit responsibility for company research grants with Innovate UK
- Manage the timely return of statistical surveys.
- Daily/weekly/monthly bank reconciliations to include foreign currency.
- Reconciliation of card payments to customer accounts
- Perform any other duties as may be reasonably be required from time-to-time.
