About your next employer

• Responsible for the overall financial management of the business and work closely with the Managing Director to maintain the company's long-term business & operational objectives.
• Provide strategic and operational financial leadership to ensure the effective financial planning, reporting, and day to day management of a small finance team.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, including preparation, review, and presentation of budgets to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including tax filings, financial audits, and regulatory reporting.
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting and finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Sitting as part of the senior management team, this role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can contribute to the growth and profitability while maintaining the highest financial standards

About you

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Proven management experience in a commercial environment, ideally within manufacturing
• Proven experience of effective planning and organisation skills
• Excellent IT skills
• Experience of providing financial information at senior level
