About your next employer
- Responsible for the overall financial management of the business and work closely with the Managing Director to maintain the company's long-term business & operational objectives.
- Provide strategic and operational financial leadership to ensure the effective financial planning, reporting, and day to day management of a small finance team.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, including preparation, review, and presentation of budgets to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including tax filings, financial audits, and regulatory reporting.
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting and finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Sitting as part of the senior management team, this role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can contribute to the growth and profitability while maintaining the highest financial standards
About you
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Proven management experience in a commercial environment, ideally within manufacturing
- Proven experience of effective planning and organisation skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Experience of providing financial information at senior level
