This is a maternity cover contract and will suit a candidate who is available at short notice.

As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the overall financial management of the business and work closely with the Finance Director to maintain the company's long-term business & operational objectives. You will provide strategic and operational financial leadership to ensure the effective financial planning, reporting, and control of the company's resources. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can contribute to our growth and profitability while maintaining the highest standards of financial governance.

About you

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Proven management experience in a commercial environment
  • Proven experience of effective planning and organisation skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Experience of providing financial information at senior level

What you'll do

  • Provide strong commercial input and support on a range of strategic and operational issues
  • Provide financial direction to Senior Management Team and Commercial Team
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Review and maintain effective controls and reporting mechanisms
  • KPI reporting
