Senior Financial Analyst (Global Manufacturing)

VANRATH are delighted to be working in partnership with an innovative global manufacturer to recruit a commercially astute Senior Financial Analyst to join the European Finance Team.

The Senior Financial Analyst is will be responsible for creating and standardising all reporting for the European Finance Team, as well as supporting other business functions where needed reporting to CFO, Europe. The role will also involve leading a new internal audit process for the group

The Role:

• Develop and define business reporting, dashboards and analytics across the business, helping to build the
• companies BI strategy.
• Provide analytical, interpretive, investigative, and advisory services to the business.
• Apply good business acumen and commercial sense to analyse information to provide value added analytics to the
• management team.
• Become a 'superuser' in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or another selected reporting tool. Developing ability to write
• bespoke reports as required across the business.
• Create a standard set of Financial Reports for use across the business.
• Managing the suite of reports created, educating across sites.
• Europe finance lead for supporting global BI commercial reporting
• Key finance lead in working with commercial and pricing teams on sales budget, ensuring data accuracy in current
• year data and correct bridging of yoy.
• Liaison with various departments as required to support their business needs in a timely fashion.
• Establish and run an internal audit process for Europe.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting coupled with extensive business intelligence experience.
