Electrical Engineer
Our client, a well-established company with over 50 years in the industry, is expanding and has created a new position for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team. This role offers a great opportunity for an experienced professional to support a dedicated maintenance team in a dynamic environment.
As an Electrical Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring efficient production by maintaining and repairing electrical systems. We're looking for a candidate with solid electrical maintenance experience who is focused on minimising equipment downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues to keep production running smoothly.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to improve system reliability and avoid breakdowns.
- Install, maintain, and inspect electrical components, wiring, and control devices.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Respond promptly and professionally to breakdowns and emergencies.
- Plan and prioritise workload in collaboration with engineering and production management.
- Comply with electrical safety standards and company policies.
- Keep accurate, up-to-date records of all maintenance tasks.
Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician in a production or industrial environment.
- Level 3 qualification in an Engineering discipline.
- Skilled in machinery repairs, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
