About the Role
The Digital Content Editor is responsible for publishing, managing and creating digital content for the Northern Ireland Assembly. The primary function of the role is publishing website content on behalf of the many business areas within the Assembly using the Content Management Systems that facilitate the Assembly's web presence. There is a strong emphasis on digital accessibility, therefore publishing content will require re-formatting in line with best practice and accessibility standards. The role also involves publishing to social media and assisting the Internal Communications Manager with internal newsletters and associated content for encouraging staff engagement in internal activities and initiatives. They work with the Web Content Manager and the Communications Team to deliver the Northern Ireland Assembly Commission's content plans, tracking and evaluating the performance of content against objectives.
