We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer with deep expertise in Azure technologies, including Azure Fabric, to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on impactful projects by designing and implementing scalable data solutions within the Azure ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Azure Data Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain efficient data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Fabric to ensure seamless data flow and accessibility.
  • Infrastructure Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to build and optimise a robust Azure data infrastructure that meets evolving business needs.
  • ETL Management: Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks leveraging Azure services to process large datasets effectively.
  • Query Optimisation: Fine-tune and optimise queries for performance within Azure-based environments.
  • Scalable Solutions: Develop and maintain scalable data solutions using Azure tools and frameworks.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, performance, and integration within the Azure landscape.
  • Technology Advancement: Stay up to date with the latest developments and best practices in Azure data engineering and cloud technologies.

Required Skills:

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Python and SQL with a strong background in data integration, ETL processes, and data pipeline development.
  • Azure Proficiency: Extensive experience with Azure services, including hands-on expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Fabric, and other related Azure tools.
  • Data Storage Solutions: Familiarity with both relational databases and NoSQL solutions in an Azure environment.
  • Cloud Platform Knowledge: Demonstrated experience in designing data solutions on cloud platforms, with a particular focus on Azure.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
