Digital DNA Conference
Our Tech recruitment director, Matthew Evers, and Senior Tech Recruitment Consultant, Jennifer Curran, enjoyed the day down at the Digital DNA conference where they were able to sit in on some talks and join in on some important conversations around the current NI Tech market, including topics involving start-ups and the support networks that are available.
Testing meet-up
Our tech recruitment specialists had a great time connecting with new, and familiar, faces at the Software Testing Meet-up, which was organised by Hugh McCamphill and Paddy Fox, and held in Custom House Belfast. There was a great line up of speakers and we look forward to working with Hugh and Patrick again on more events in the future!
HR Leaders Forum
Our Managing Director, Barbara McKiernan, and Operations Manager, Emma Wilson, had a brilliant morning at the HR Leaders Forum in Custom House Square. Hosted by Women in Business NI and The Centre of Learning, and sponsored by VANRATH, this forum provided a powerful platform for corporate members to discuss topics such as Neurodiversity.
The guest speakers, Mairead Hylands and Laura Shevlin, shared their career journeys so far and the various paths they've taken in the tech world. They also highlighted the vital role of support networks like Women In Tech in guiding and supporting their growth!
It was an evening dedicated to listening to women's stories, building connections, and sharing insights, all in a relaxed setting with some pizza and drinks, and our team loved every second.
Young Leaders NI Annual Conference
VANRATH had the absolute pleasure of being associate sponsors of the Young Leaders NI Annual Conference which was held at Riddel Hall! This year's theme was "Leading Well" and featured some insightful speeches and panel discussions not only on leadership but also wellbeing and entrepreneurship - including managing stress to avoid becoming overwhelmed, prioritising health, and time management. It was lovely listening to our future inspirational young leaders discussing their thoughts and experiences.
DMS Graduation Ball
What a brilliant night it was on the night of the DMS Ireland Graduation ball which was held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of DMS and all the graduates who obtained their CIPD qualifications! The team put on a fantastic night and the admiration was clear from the students on how much support DMS had shown them throughout their learning journey.
The fun continued with a delightful dinner at The Cultra Inn, complete with beautiful food and wonderful company. We love treating our team to exciting activities like this every month to celebrate their successes, and we also provide weekly treats just because they deserve it.
