VANRATH was established in 2000 by Wayne Sullivan as a boutique recruitment business, initially focussing on recruitment within the Finance sector. In the years that followed, the business grew significantly to become Northern Ireland’s leading professional recruitment business, and expanded our recruitment services across Tech, HR and Engineering.
In 2018 Neil McKibbin, a well-established local businessman and long- standing friend of Wayne’s, acquired a 50% share in VANRATH. Since then the business has continued to thrive, with revenues of £22m in 2023, and an expansion of our services into other business sectors.
After more than 20 years Wayne has now decided to pursue other priorities and interests with Neil now taking full ownership of the business. Barbara McKiernan, supported by the senior management team, will continue with the day-to-day running of the business, with Neil providing his support to the team.
We wish Wayne the very best with all his future endeavours, and are very positive that this change in ownership will allow the business to go from strength to strength.
