As part of our Christmas fundraising efforts, VANRATH took part in the local Jingle Run for Northern Ireland Children's Hospice gaining a medal for completing 5k – and more!
Team VANRATH laced up, warmed up, and entered the Jingle Run on Sunday 4th December 2022 starting from V36 at The Valley Park in Newtownabbey.
It was a welcome celebration for the return of the first Jingle Run in two years which was back bigger and better than ever. Damian Della Croce, Ross Stevenson, Gareth Morrow and Jordan Burns ran the 5k fun run to help raise money for individuals and families affected by Cancer in Northern Ireland.
Gareth says: “We had a great day at the return of the Jingle Run and completed two laps of the park… Well, Jordan actually completed three accidentally so ended up doing over 7k and beat his own record time!”
This is just one of VANRATH’s many fundraising contributions as we work towards raising money for Northern Ireland Hospice, Cash for Kids Northern Ireland and The Welcome Organisation in the lead up to Christmas.
Don't worry if you missed it as you can also take part in the race virtually before 22nd January 2023 - and still join in the festive fundraising fun!
