VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a major client with the Recruitment of an Experienced Transport Specialist to join an experienced and dynamic team based in Banbridge.
Salary - £30,000
Hours - Mon-Fri- 09:00-17:00
Overview - As a Transport Planner you will be required to organise and plan the collections of our the fleet. Read the Transport system and and deliver all relevant info to the drivers.
Responsibilities:
- Follow a daily working schedule whilst organising routes in a safe and efficient manner.
- Monitor vehicles throughout the day and adjust plan to accommodate certain situations.
- Ensure Operations are carried out in accordance with legal requirements.
- Work with fleet maintenance to ensure vehicles are maintained.
Requirements:
- Previous Transport Knowledge is essential!
- Excellent Communication - Written, English and Verbal.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft for Data Analysis and reporting purpose is essential.
- Good knowledge o of IT Systems relevant to planning.
- Ability to engage a team and drive initiatives.
- Problem solving capabilities.
- Able to work under pressure.
